Kitchen Countertops for Woodstock Homes

Woodstock sits 40 minutes east of our Cartersville shop, so a local fabricator is closer than the big-box stores suggest. We cut granite and marble countertops at our shop and bring them to your home.

Serving Woodstock and Cherokee County

Few metro suburbs have grown like this one, anchored by one of the liveliest downtowns around. We fit countertops in the neighborhoods near the Park at City Center and Elm Street, in master-planned Towne Lake, in established streets by Olde Rope Mill, and in newer builds toward the Outlet Shoppes and Lake Allatoona. Because the drive from Cartersville is short, scheduling stays easy, and there’s no distant-shop markup added to your project.

Granite, Marble, and the Engineered Option

We fabricate all three in our own shop. Granite is a durable natural stone; every slab is one of a kind and heat-tolerant with a yearly reseal, which is why granite countertops still anchor so many local kitchens. Quartz is the engineered, low-maintenance choice, non-porous and never needing to be sealed. Marble brings veined elegance to a showpiece island. We’ll bring samples to your door so you can match each countertop to your cooking and your budget.

How the Work Goes

Four steps, most installs done in a single day. We start with a free in-home consultation on materials, colors, and budget. Then we template your space precisely. Fabrication, the cutting and polishing, happens at our Cartersville shop. On installation day, the old surface is removed, the new one is installed, and we reconnect the sink and faucet before cleanup. One crew runs the entire project, so the countertop you picked is set by the people who measured it.

Atlanta Surface Masters did an incredible job on our kitchen countertops. The stone is absolutely flawless, and the install crew was professional, clean and on time. It’s rare to find a company that delivers both high-end craftsmanship and great customer service, but they nailed both.

Questions Homeowners Ask

What’s the average cost for kitchen countertops?

In 2026, plan on roughly $40 to $115 per square foot installed for granite, $50 to $150 for engineered surfaces, and a bit more for marble, with laminate well below. A typical kitchen of 40 to 50 square feet usually runs $3,000 to $7,500 once edges, cutouts, and old-surface removal are counted. That price is a general market range, not our quote; we measure your space and give you an exact figure for free.

Why are people not using granite countertops anymore?

They still are, just less of the dated kind. The busy, speckled brown-and-gold granite of the early 2000s fell out of fashion, and many buyers switched to engineered surfaces for the zero-maintenance appeal. But granite is far from finished: in 2026, it’s back in warmer tones, cleaner movement, and honed or leathered finishes, and it still beats most surfaces on heat resistance and value. Chosen in the right color, it looks current rather than dated.

What is the most popular countertop right now?

Quartz. The National Kitchen and Bath Association’s 2026 forecast puts it well out front, mostly for its no-sealing convenience and consistent patterns. Granite holds a strong second among buyers who want a genuine natural surface and better heat resistance. Many of our clients still choose stone for a hardworking kitchen. The popular pick isn’t always the right one, so we match the surface to how you cook.

What is the most popular kitchen countertop right now?

The same answer: the engineered surface tops this list too, thanks to its durability and zero upkeep. Granite remains the favorite among those who prefer real stone and maximum heat tolerance, and it accounts for a large share of what we install. For a busy household, we match the surface to how hard the kitchen works.

Which is cheaper, quartz or granite?

They overlap more than people expect. Entry-level granite often starts a bit below the engineered option, while premium designer slabs climb higher. Over time, the engineered surface can cost less since it never needs resealing. The real driver is the specific slab, not the category, so we quote both for you side by side.
