Serving Rome and Floyd County
Built on seven hills where the Etowah and Oostanaula rivers join to form the Coosa, Rome carries real history, from the 1871 Clocktower above downtown to the Between the Rivers district and the sweep of Berry College. We fit countertops in the older neighborhoods near Broad Street, in homes around Shorter University and Myrtle Hill, and in newer subdivisions spreading out across Floyd County. The drive from Cartersville is short, so scheduling stays easy, and there’s no distant-shop markup.
Granite, Quartz, and Marble
We fabricate all three in our own shop. Granite is a durable natural stone; every slab is one of a kind and heat-tolerant with a yearly reseal. Quartz is the engineered, low-maintenance choice, non-porous and sealing-free. Marble brings veined elegance to a showpiece island. We’ll bring samples to your door so you can compare them and match the surface to your cooking and your budget.
How the Work Goes
Four steps, most installs finished in a single day. We start with a free in-home consultation on materials, colors, and budget. Then we template your space precisely. Fabrication, cutting, and polishing happen at our Cartersville shop. On installation day, the old surface is removed, the new one is installed, and we reconnect the sink and faucet before cleanup. One crew runs it start to finish, so the quality stays consistent.
A wide range of materials. Hundreds of colors.
We offer natural stone countertops and engineered surfaces in a polished or honed finish — every kitchen we install starts with the right material selection.
Granite
The toughest natural stone option. Heat-resistant, scratch-tolerant, built to last decades. Every slab is one-of-a-kind. Needs sealing every 12–18 months.
Quartz
Engineered, non-porous, zero maintenance. Never needs sealing. The most popular pick for busy family kitchens. Hundreds of patterns.
Marble
Timeless veining and a luminous polished surface. The classic high-end choice. Needs more attentive care — worth it for the look.
Quartzite
Natural stone with an elegant veined look and granite-level durability. The choice for clients who want statement veining without high-maintenance upkeep.

Waterfall Island · East Cobb
Atlanta Surface Masters did an incredible job on our kitchen countertops. The stone is absolutely flawless, and the install crew was professional, clean and on time. It’s rare to find a company that delivers both high-end craftsmanship and great customer service, but they nailed both.
“We wanted something unique for our bathroom remodel, and ASM brought our vision to life. Their team walked us through stone options, edges, and finishes we hadn’t even considered. The final result looks like something out of a design magazine. Worth every penny.”

Questions Homeowners Ask
What is the least expensive stone slab?
Among natural slabs, entry-level granite is usually the most affordable, often costing less than marble or quartzite. Color and origin drive the price, so a common granite runs well below a rare imported one. Remnant pieces left over from larger jobs are even cheaper and work great for smaller runs. If budget is the priority, we’ll steer you toward the value end without sacrificing durability.
What celebrity was from Rome, Georgia?
A few, actually. Longtime NFL coach Dan Reeves was born in Rome, as was musician and producer Butch Walker, and pro wrestler Arn Anderson is a Rome native, too. The city’s deep roots have produced athletes, performers, and plenty of local legends over the years.
What are the top brands of quartz countertops?
The names you’ll see most are Cambria, Silestone, Caesarstone, MSI, LG Viatera, and HanStone. They lead in color range, consistency, and warranty, which is why they dominate showrooms. We fabricate all of them, so you’re not locked into one line; we’ll match the brand and color to your look and budget.
