01 / Our Service Area

Serving Newnan and Coweta County

Known as the City of Homes, with block after block of preserved antebellum and Victorian houses, the area blends historic character with fast new growth, exactly what we work with. We fit countertops in the districts around Court Square and the 1904 courthouse, in the established streets near the old cotton mill, in master-planned SummerGrove, and in newer builds out by Ashley Park and Piedmont. The distance is on us; you get true custom fabrication with no showroom drive on your end.

Granite, Quartz, and Marble

We fabricate all three in our own shop. Granite is a durable natural stone, every slab unique and heat-tolerant with a yearly reseal, which is why granite countertops still anchor so many kitchens. Quartz is the engineered, low-maintenance choice, non-porous and never needing sealing. Marble brings veined elegance to a showpiece island. We’ll bring samples to your door so you can match the countertop to your cooking and your budget.

How the Work Goes

Four steps, most installs done in a single day. We start with a free in-home consultation on materials, colors, and budget. Then we template your space precisely. Cutting and polishing happen at our Cartersville shop. On installation day, the old surface is removed, the new one is installed, and we reconnect the sink and faucet before cleanup. One crew handles the whole job, so quality and timing stay consistent across the miles.

Atlanta Surface Masters did an incredible job on our kitchen countertops. The stone is absolutely flawless, and the install crew was professional, clean and on time. It’s rare to find a company that delivers both high-end craftsmanship and great customer service, but they nailed both.

Questions Homeowners Ask

What does vinegar do to granite?

Keep it off the stone. Vinegar is acidic, so over time it dulls the polish on granite and breaks down the sealer that protects the surface; more porous tops are even more sensitive. For daily cleaning, warm water with a little dish soap or a pH-neutral cleaner is all you need. Reseal granite about once a year, and promptly wipe up acidic spills from citrus, wine, or tomato. Treated well, it lasts decades.

Why are people not using granite countertops anymore?

They still are, just less of the dated kind. The busy, speckled brown-and-gold slabs of the early 2000s fell out of fashion, and many buyers switched to engineered surfaces for the zero-maintenance appeal. But granite itself is far from finished: in 2026, it’s back in warmer tones, cleaner movement, and honed or leathered looks, and it still beats most surfaces on heat resistance and value. Chosen in the right color, it looks timeless rather than dated.

What lasts longer, quartz or granite?

Both outlast most kitchens, but they age differently. Granite, sealed once a year, can last for 30 years or longer, and it shrugs off heat and direct sun without fading. Quartz typically lasts decades, too, though its resin can scorch under a hot pan and may yellow in constant sunlight. If you want the longest life with the least worry about heat, the natural surface has the edge; if you’d rather skip resealing, the engineered option wins on upkeep. We’ll help you weigh it for your space.
