Kitchen Countertops for Dallas and Paulding County

Dallas sits about 30 minutes south of our Cartersville shop, so when we say local, we mean it. We fabricate granite, marble, and engineered countertops, then bring them to your Paulding County home, measure on-site, and install them ourselves.

Serving Dallas and Paulding County

You’ll find our work all over the county: in the historic neighborhoods around Courthouse Square and the 1892 clocktower, in newer subdivisions like Seven Hills, in homes near the Silver Comet Trail, and out toward Hiram and Pickett’s Mill. Because the drive from Cartersville is short, scheduling is easy, and there’s no long-distance surcharge on the bill. One crew measures, fabricates, and installs, so the people who template your counters are the ones who set them.

Granite, Marble, and the Engineered Option

Granite is what most Dallas homeowners ask for, and for good reason. It’s natural stone, every slab one of a kind, and it shrugs off heat and knives with a yearly reseal, which is why granite countertops still anchor so many kitchens. Quartz is the engineered alternative, non-porous and never needing sealing, ideal if low upkeep is the priority. Marble brings a softer, veined look for a standout island or a baking station. Not sure which fits your cooking and budget? We bring full samples to your door so you can judge each countertop in your own light.

How the Work Goes

Four steps, most installs done in a day. First, a free in-home consultation on colors, layout, and budget. Next, we template your space exactly. Then we cut and polish the slabs at our Cartersville shop. Finally, we install and reconnect the sink and faucet before we tidy up. One team handles it all, so quality and schedule stay under your control.

Questions Homeowners Ask

What does vinegar do to granite?

Keep it off the stone. Vinegar is acidic, so over time it eats at the polish on granite and breaks down the sealer that protects it; marble reacts even faster and can etch. For daily cleaning, warm water with a little dish soap or a pH-neutral cleaner is all you need. Reseal granite about once a year, and wipe up acidic spills like citrus, wine, or tomato promptly. When treated well, the surface easily lasts for decades.

What is the most popular kitchen countertop right now?

Quartz. The National Kitchen and Bath Association’s 2026 forecast puts it well ahead of everything else, mostly for its no-sealing convenience and even patterning. Granite holds a steady second among buyers who want genuine natural stone and stronger heat resistance. Locally, plenty of our clients still pick the natural option for a hardworking kitchen. The most popular surface isn’t automatically the right one, so we match the material to how you actually cook.

What lasts longer, quartz or granite?

Both outlast most kitchens, but they age differently. Granite, sealed once a year, can last for 30 years or longer and resists heat and direct sun without fading. Quartz typically lasts decades, too, though its resin can scorch under a hot pan and may yellow in constant sunlight. If you want the longest life with the least worry about heat, granite has the edge; if you’d rather skip resealing, the engineered option wins on upkeep. We’ll help you weigh it for your space.
