Do quartz countertops require sealing?
No. Quartz is nonporous and requires no sealing.

Quartz is stain-resistant, but prolonged exposure to certain chemicals or direct sunlight can cause discoloration.
Is it safe to place hot pans directly on quartz?
No. Always use trivets or hot pads. Direct heat can damage quartz.
Can quartz be repaired if it chips or cracks?
Yes, most chips or cracks can be professionally repaired, depending on severity.
Will the color of my quartz fade over time?
Quartz maintains its color well indoors. Outdoor use may cause fading due to UV exposure.
Can I cut directly on my quartz countertop?
Not recommended. Quartz is scratch-resistant but not scratch-proof. Always use a cutting board.
Are there cleaners I should avoid?

Do granite and marble countertops require sealing?
Yes. We seal them during installation and recommend resealing every 1–3 years, depending on usage.
Can I place hot pots directly onto granite?
Granite can tolerate heat, but trivets are still recommended to avoid thermal shock or potential discoloration.
Can I cut directly on granite?
Granite can dull your knives and may scratch. Always use a cutting board.
